John D. “Dan” Hale, K4YDL, passed away on September 10, 2026. Dan resided in Marietta with Jane
and will be missed for his quiet and thoughtful demeanor. Often a partaking in Hungry Hams, Dan
always had a line to contribute to conversations, sometimes related to software, mathematics or maybe his
cats. As John AA4AN noted last week, Dan hadn’t been seen for a while. Sadly we learned why. Please
take a minute for Dan in your thoughts and prayers.
