HamJam 2026 occurs on November 14, 2026. This will be the 17th year since the first event. HamJam occurs because as Hams we all share a vital interest inviting participation in the hobby and helping it grow. HamJam allows us to provide educational, scholarship and activities sponsorship to youth in Georgia and beyond.
HamJam is traditionally held each year on the second Saturday in November. This year is no exception. The event will take place from 8:15 AM – 1:00 PM at Preston Ridge Community Center, 3655 Preston Ridge Road Suite 100, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Doors open at 7:45 AM.
Admission to the event is FREE! There will be FREE coffee, tea and light refreshments. All we ask is that you bring a smile and are willing to enjoy a morning of amateur radio related camaraderie and interesting presentations. And don’t forget! You can contribute to the youth program and scholarship funding through your purchase of raffle tickets!
HamJam 2026 will feature three fantastic speakers. Each speaker will present a program we’re sure you’ll find interesting and entertaining.
- Don Rotolo, N2IRX – Modern Packet Radio : A Network that Works
- Martin Jue, K5FLU – The Early Days of MFJ
- Preston Booth – Martin F. Jue: Life and Legacy
Each session will be followed by a break for refreshments and more ticket purchases
Following the last session break, our raffle session will kick off, where the interactive prize drawings will conclude the event.
