This is a fantastic opportunity to operate, learn, socialize, and showcase the power and fun of ham radio to the community. We invite every NFARL member to join us for this exciting weekend.

Join us for ham radio's open house. Every June, more than 31,000 hams throughout the US and Canada set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nations, all while having fun participating! Field Day combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933, and remains one of the most popular events in ham radio.

Whether you're a seasoned operator or new to the hobby, there's a station for you! Sign up for a slot to get on the air.
Morse Code (CW) Station
- This station is located at the North end of the upper parking lot.
The station is working using Morse Code mode (a.k.a. CW) and Digital modes.

Get On The Air (GOTA) Station
- The GOTA station is located behind the North end goal of the upper soccer field. It is near the Picnic pavilion, towards the rear of the playground.
Our GOTA station may be operated by any person licensed since the previous year’s Field Day, regardless of license class. It may also be operated by a generally inactive licensee. Non-licensed persons may participate under the direct supervision of an appropriate control operator. A list of operators and participants must be included on the required summary sheet to ARRL HQ. We have two sign up sheets for our GOTA station; one for the Control Operators / Coaches and one for the Operators (in the seat making contacts). SSB Phone Station
- This station is located in RV near Pavilion #2 outside the South-West corner of the Upper soccer field.

VHF Station

- This station is located at the small tent in the upper parking lot.
It uses the VHF bands, including "the magic band" i.e., -the 6 meter band.
It also uses other bands above 50MHz.

Satellite Station
- This station is located on the West side of the middle of the parking lot.
It uses Amateur Radio satellites for contacts. The equipment in this station is used when we conduct ARISS contacts between the International Space Station and selected schools. Darryl & Scott will operate the station while you visit.

Field Day is a team effort, and we need your help to make it a success! Please consider volunteering for one or more of the following roles:
Antenna Set Up Crew
Help with the critical task of getting our antennas up and running before the event.
Antenna & Event Tear Down Crew
Assist with safely taking down and packing up the antennas and other equipment after the event.
