Join our EFHW 49:1 Unun Workshop build on Saturday, October 24 at 3:00pm in our Preston Ridge meeting location.

We have had significant interest outside NFARL, so we are opening the workshop to all that register.

Deliverable: Build, test, and certify your own End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW) 49:1 unun, housed in a durable, outdoor-mountable 4 x 4 x 2 inch weatherproof enclosure. We will also have a winder style mount available for the POTA/SOTA enthusiast. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced builder or tackling your very first kit. Club Elmers will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.

Join our EFHW 49:1 Unun Workshop build on Saturday, October 24 at 3:00pm in our Preston Ridge meeting location.

This newer core design is rated at 100 watts FT-8 and 200 watts ssb, with <0.5 dB loss. The attraction of the EFHW antenna is that it can be mounted as a horizontal, vertical, sloper, inverted Vee or L configurations..

We will have all the kit parts on hand and instructions on the assembly process, including step- by-step videos. And don’t forget, we will have quite a few Elmers available that have construction experience with this well proven design.

We are planning on a 2 hour workshop. 

Bring your light tool bag, as we have limited tool sets.
