We’re so proud of the students at Pinecrest Academy! High school students Sam Ansley and Henry Schafer of the amateur radio club recently showcased their skills, making successful contacts at the ARRL Field Day. The entire school is now taking amateur radio to the next level with a special event: an ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station) contact with the ISS! The North Fulton Amateur Radio League has a proud legacy as one of Georgia’s premier amateur radio clubs. Our successes over the years are the direct result of the dedication, passion, and skill of our members—many of whom have served tirelessly in Executive and Support roles and many behind the scenes volunteers. This year, more than ever, we are inviting members to “step up” and consider serving a one-year term on our Executive Team or in one of several important support positions. Voting for these roles will take place in September, and we are seeking enthusiastic candidates who want to […]
