Georgia QSO Party 2025 – Get Ready to Represent NFARL!

The 2025 Georgia QSO Party (GQP) is right around the corner, taking place on April 12th and April 13th. This is one of the biggest events of the year for Georgia hams, and NFARL has a strong tradition of outstanding participation—let’s keep that momentum going!

Operating Schedule

  • Saturday, April 12th: 1800Z (2:00 PM EDT) – 0359Z (11:59 PM EDT)
  • Sunday, April 13th: 1400Z (10:00 AM EDT) – 2359Z (7:59 PM EDT)

Whether you’re a seasoned contester or new to HF operating, GQP is a fantastic opportunity to be the DX, sharpen your contesting skills, and have fun making contacts from all over the country!

NFARL QSO Party Challenge – Join the Fun!

NFARL members and friends, we want to track everyone’s participation and encourage friendly competition.

If you plan to operate in GQP, please email John Tramontanis, N4TOL (n4tol@nfarl.org) with your name and call sign to be added to the NFARL QSO Party Challenge list. This helps us recognize our club members on the air, tally scores, and award certificates in various categories!

Special Event Call Sign Stations

NFARL will again have 10 special event 1x1 call sign stations on the air:

N4N - N4F - N4A - N4R - N4L
K4N - K4F - K4A - K4R - K4L

  • Work 5 of these 10 to spell NFARL (using any band/mode) and earn the “Spell NFARL” Certificate.
  • Contact all 10 stations for the highly sought-after “Clean Sweep” award!
  • Work at least one to receive a special QSL card.
