Roswell Mayor Jere Wood proclaimed June 21 - 27 to be "Amater Radio Week" in Roswell Georgia. Jim N4SEC and Ian AK4IK received the award for the club, supported by these club members plus Wes W3WL.

Mayor Wood also declared Jim W4QO to be Roswell's Ham of the Year, in recognition of his contributions to ham radio in Roswell. The award was a surprise to Jim. His family was pre-notified and sworn to secrecy so they could be there to witness Jim's honor. Congratulations Jim!
