April Meeting

Club members and guests gathered on April 18th at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center for our monthly meeting.

Our latest Code 10 Award recipient: Jon Mayo, KR3T with our CW Mentor & NFARL VP Steve Randall, KO4VW. Congratulations Jon!

Wes Lamboley, W3WL, gave a presentation he called “DX101”. It provided a view of the basics of DXing.

Nathan Wood, K4NHW, connected to Wes’ discussion with his presentation “DX’ing; Operating from the other side of the pile-up”. Nathan provided real-life examples from the DX’er point of view.

Both presentationa generated lots of good discussion from the audience.

The evening wrapped up with our monthly raffle drawings. Tony, WA3TRA was one of our winners.
