May Meeting

Club members gathered at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center at North Park on May 15th, 2018 for our monthly meeting. The May program was “Field Day by the Numbers”, presented by Scott Straw, KB4KBS.

NFARL Vice President John Tramontanis, N4TOL presents a Georgia QSO Party plaque to Ian Kahn KM4IK for his first place finish in the Single Operator - High Power Phone category in the NFARL internal competition.

Grant Register, KK4PCR updates the group on the status of NFARES in general and also their preparations for Field Day.

John N4TOL introduces tonight's speaker Scott Straw, KB4KBS. Scott is our 2018 Field Day Chairman.

Scott gave us an overview of past Field Day competition results and related them to this year's approach to Field Day.
